Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup peanut butter (medium consistency, not

too oily or too dry)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup chopped raisins

2 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

1 cup soy protein isolate

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

1/4 cup wheat germ, for rolling

Mix the honey, peanut butter, and vanilla together in a medium bowl until

smooth. Add the raisins and sesame seeds, and mix again.

Carefully mix in the soy isolate until a smooth dough is formed. The mixture

will be stiff yet sticky. With wet hands, grab a chunk of the mixture equal to

about a heaping teaspoon, and roll it into a round ball, 3/4 inch in diameter.

(keep a shallow bowl of water nearby to dip your hands in when you form the

balls.)

Have a shallow bowl of wheat germ ready to roll the balls in. Make several

balls, put them in the wheat germ bowl, and roll them around in the wheat gerrm

until they are coated. Place them on a serving plate.
