Guest guest Posted June 3, 2000 Report Share Posted June 3, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Cantonese Dipping Sauce Recipe By : Cooking Light June 2000 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon dry sherry 1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon cornstarch 2 tablespoons water Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat. Dissolve cornstarch in water, and slowly add to soy mixture, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute or until sauce thickens.
