Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

7 ounces Gimme Lean Beef Flavor -- (1/2 package)

1 14.5-ounce can tomatoes -- chopped, with liquid

1 8-ounce can tomato sauce

1/2 cup carrots -- finely chopped

1 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup raisins

1 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp ground cloves

2 Tbs green olives -- sliced

2 Tbs almonds -- slivered

 

Brown the GimmeLean® in a large nonstick skillet. Stir in all the remaining

ingredients except the almonds.

 

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, stirring frequently,

for 20 minutes.

 

Stir in the slivered almonds. Serve.

 

Yield: 6 servings Serving size: 1/2 cup

3.7 g fiber, 566 mg sodium, 0 mg cholesterol
