Guest guest
I just bought some dried TVP chunks from the bulk bid at my Whole Foods Store. Unfortunately they came with no instructions. Any idea how I should use these....I think they are the " chicken " vs. " beef " flavor. Thanks in advance.
Guest guest
You could put them in stews, stir-fries, etc., or any recipe that might have " chicken chunks " in it. My husband once made a veggie pot pie and put those kind of TVP chunks in it. I see if I have any specific recipes for you. I have a great TVP recipe that I was going to post, but I am having some trouble with Mastercook. I think I entered it correctly, and put in my correct mail server information, but for some reason I keep getting error messages when I try to send it. (Karen G - help!!) Anyway, I will try to keep working on it, and send it within the next couple of days if I can ever figure out how. I've had Mastercook for a couple of months, but have so far only used it for importing. This is the first time I've tried exporting, and I'm not having much luck. In the meantime, I recommend the TVP Cookbook, by Dorothy R. Bates. The recipe I was going to send comes from it.
