Guest guest
I didn't mean to cause any upset in what I said about people pretending to be nice to vegans. It was intended to be humourous. My actual point was that these people who are on the face of it, being kind to you MIGHT be doing it for an easy life, or they might be doing it to keep a friendship with you, or (as someone else said) they might feel an agreement with you but are too weak to do what you do. Of course, I am not saying that only thing they want is sex, I am not a moron, and I do not deserve the prestigious Moronic Generalisation of the Day award. These things I say are from personal observation, people I have met have always ended up insulting me and my values after I actually discuss the issue head on, not one of them hasn't turned out to have a huge in-bread problem with the consept: However, it is not impossible that they are genuinely sympathetic. As I said, the comment wasn't a serious one. I've had enough of this dyke stuff, it's all very futile. The words are not important, the meaning is: If I call my friend a dyke in the course of a normal conversation, no harm is done. If I shout to a lesbian across the street 'Hey you stupid f***ing dyke, why don't you go home and kill yourself in a gruesome and long drawn out way?' then this would be harmful. However, the use of the word DYKE doesn't make this any more menacing. Plus, seeing as the person who used the word isn't straight in the first place, come on. Get it together. Homophobic? No one on here is homophobic. No one who chooses to be vegan has the low amount of intelligence that would lead them to the idiocy of homophobia. However, if anyone is homphobic then send me their addresses, and it will be stoner bashing time.
Guest guest
Your comment was ok as a light hearted comment , after all we girls used to be told " a man only wants one thing " and if I had had girls I would have probably warned them of that possibility Instead I warned my sons . Not everyone is honest and straight forward and some will deceive for a variety of reasons and getting someone into bed could be one of them Highly likely I would have thought with the teens and twenties Angie - " richard_19_m_uk " <iron_man_who_rules Saturday, January 05, 2002 2:17 AM Re: Vegan Dyke Homophobic Bullying > I didn't mean to cause any upset in what I said about people > pretending to be nice to vegans.
