Guest guest
Hi Lesley, I would say that we vegans smell much better. But since I love garlic and onions, my wife tells me that sometimes I smell like garlic ... better than dead animals .... In Health ... Werner. Most people eat rotting flesh, so what do you expect them to smell like? Do vegans have different body odours from animal eaters do you think? Guest guest
Garlic is not bad at all, I don't know why some people think it smells so awful. I had a temporary problem with it when I smelled it on my husband's breath in my first pregnancy, the smell made me sick at the time, but otherwise I like it. I don't eat much with garlic in, but I'd rather smell of garlic than animal-tested Impulse body spray, even if strange men don't give me flowers! I don't want flowers anyway, I'd forget to change the water and they just die anyway and make a mess. The advertising ploys would not work on me. Oh but you may never have seen those ads in the USA. I know quite well that I was not smelly, it was just one of the methods used by bullies to undermine my confidence, because they didn't like my veganism and involvement in animal rights. Guest guest
Ah! Garlic! Nature's finest gift! What a anti-venomous treat! I have used garlic religiously now for 7 years without fail, and I can honestly say that I swear by it! Garlic has saved me literally thousands of times from infection of all kinds... I eat it raw at least 3-5 times a week and it makes me feel healthy as a horse! Ah, but what you don't know is that garlic is actually a natural hallucinagenic!!! You think I'm kidding? See for yourselves... For a trip-a-licous time, Try Laura's Hot Potato Soup! Fill a big pot about a quarter full of water; Get about 6-8 potatoes and finely GRADE them. Then take about 5-7 BULBS (not cloves) BULBS of garlic, peel and GRADE them as well... Cook the potatoes in the water until smooth and creamy (might take about 45 minutes...) Depending on how strong you like your garlic, the trick to a trippin' good time is to add the garlic LAST. (Remember, the rawer the garlic is, the better! )*But make sure the garlic is cooked long enough so that the potatoes can absorb it's magical powers...* Then add some olive oil for delicious flavours... And WHALAA! There you have it! Try it and experience garlic's gloriously known-only-by-the-sages psychotropic properties! Sports - sign up for Fantasy Baseball http://sports. Do you mean GRATE the potatoes and the garlic, like SHRED it? How long exactly do you need to cook the garlic for? So you just add the olive oil at the end? thanks a lot Persian
Guest guest
Yes. Grade both the potatoes and the garlic into a fine texture. The potatoes take longer to cook (approx 20-39min?) or until they are smooth and creamy... The reason I say to add the garlic next-to-last is because the rawer the garlic, the harder you trip! The reason why I add the olive oil last is because if you add it first, you will cook all that yummy flavoring out, so by adding it last, you give the soup a fuller more delicious flavor! -Season as you like...
