Guest guest
oh jojo, you own yer own company, you must be rich!!! hahahahahah now, who has a good supplier of non-leather bondage belts and spiked jewelry??? hmmmm??? not for me of course, oh no *innocent smile* cheers fraggle " jojo " <tofujojo wrote: >You are a very wise vegan girl, vegan_girl I hadn't ever thought of buying used stuff quite like that. I just wanted to add, though how many cool shoes are out there (to fit any budget) that are non-leather. I just got a kick-ass pair of platformed mary janes -- *4 1/2 " inches of pure goodness* -- from Hot Topic. Unfortunately, me being a dumbass, I ordered the wrong size and now have to wait to get a new pair. But I tried them on and they are so beautiful and I was so tall! A towering 5' 6 1/2 " ! Woo-hoo! > >And gutterglitter, I'm not perfect either, the shoes I got (new) aren't certified " vegan " . God only knows what's in the glue that holds them together and I don't know how or where they were made. I also tend to lean towards freeganism, too, truth be told, when drastic times call for drastic measures (i.e. my belly is grumbling and there is nothing else to eat.) Just do what you are comfortable with. You only live once and I doubt you're going to Hell for buying a pair of used Docs. If you win the bid, enjoy them. If not, then it was a learning experience and you have a whole lot more to think about next time > >--jojo > - > vegan_girl_1975 > > Thursday, April 18, 2002 4:34 PM > Re: opinons > > > I personally wouldn't wear leather, new or used, but think that you > should do what makes you comfortable. > > However, I had one or two things to point out. Guest guest
Oh, the hair is tres cheap! It only took 5 bags of jumbo braid to do my hair and it was 3 bags for $10. I didn't do my bangs though and I got fat, fat braids. So if you wanted more little braids, and you wanted to do your whole head, you'd need more hair. You can get the stuff in any color and if you're just doing braids, you don't need to waste your money on real hair. And, to me personally, I don't want someone elses' hair on my head. Ewwwwwwww......... --jojo - " casey thompson " <veganmunkee Sunday, April 21, 2002 4:16 PM Re: Re: Re: opinons > quick question...how long was your hair to begin with?? and is it fake > hair?? cuz i heard real hair was really expensive..i was extentions... i'm > blonde with like...layered nap of neck hair... i want it down my back!!!! > i heard for fake hair it's like 60 bucks!! > > > > casey > > > > " jojo " <tofujojo > > > > > >Re: Re: Re: opinons > >Sun, 21 Apr 2002 18:22:44 -0700 > > > >Hmmm.... > > > >Maybe I will :-D! > > > >still thrilled to death with my instant hair, > >jojo > >- > > " Jo " <Heartwork > > > >Saturday, April 20, 2002 11:34 AM > >Re: Re: Re: opinons > > > > > > > Jojo > > > > > > Sounds nice. There are companies online that sell dreaded hair pieces, too that look really cool. So, in like 5 minutes or less, you could have a head ful of multicolored dreads. This kind of stuff is really hard to do on your own head. My hair took over 4 hours and that was a professional doing it for me. I will see if I can find the link for you -- oh here: http://www.btinternet.com/~quinnster1/hair/hair.html Check out their links page and they have a bunch of stuff like that.... --jojo
