Let's call it a discussion :-)

 

What name would you suggest those of us who do not want to eat honey should

use to distinguish ourselves from those who do? Isn't the whole point of

having the word " Vegan " to make it blatantly obvious to the rest of the

world exactly what we consume - i.e. no animal related products.

I understand that originally the Vegetarian Society was for vegans. Then

apparently, some people started including dairy and eggs, and the strict

vegetarians decided to change their name to 'vegan'!

 

It's strange that it's the strict vegetarians who always have to change

their descriptive name just because other people decide to change the

description, isn't it.

i agree i do....

 

btw..i fond a typo in veggie life today.... there was a recipe containing

honey and instead of writing... ( damn i forgot the word they used for

something containing honey...) andyway...intead of using that word...on the

bottom of the recipe...they put vegan.... i was surprised..hmmmmmm...
