I remember calling my senator about the hearings on Bush's picks for the USDA -

a staunch proponant of factory farming who felt that factory farming was the way

to go to save our country.

 

oh ppplllleeeaasssseee!!! *rolls eyes in total disbelief*

 

Did you see the newest one - the House will be voting on a package this week or

next that proponents are pushing to include MEGA provisions to allow the

Department of Defense to be exempt from most environmental and public safety

type laws along those lines (this includes many animal laws - i.e., endanged

species act) - of all agencies to have a free reign with exemptions - might as

well give it to the idiots at the Fish and Wildlife Service (they seem to do

what they want to do whenever they want to do it anyways). Friggin' unreal!!

 

If only I were queen . . . can I be queen and do the animal related

environmental and general animal laws in Fragglestonia (I think that sounds

better - snicker snicker).

queen huh?

i guess...assuming you accept that i will be benevolent dictator for life, and

you have to be voted in by a plebicite every 3rd month...

 

yeah, i've been following up on the DOD story..and it goes further then that,

bush wants to exempt a whole slew of agencies, tho, most of them are related to

the DOD....

every day i learn some horrid new thing our govt is chortling over....

ok..i want to wake up now...really...someone..please..is this some sort of

loooong coma enhanced dream state?? i want out now...no more kidding

around....please? anyone....
