Guest guest
Thank you for welcomeing me to vegan chat . I think its a really good idear i was surprized that there are so many folks from over seas I am not used to the internet yet we bought it for the kids when we got them a new computer. I have sent one or two emails but I think I deleted one by mistake when I spell checked it ( I'M NOT VERY GOOD YET ) Is there any vegans out there who live in Sheffield or near? if so are there any festivals happening here in Sheffied. What happened to groove on the green you could buy vegan food there. I need vegan cake.Sign up to watch the FIFA World Cup video highlights from your desk! http://fifaworldcup./fc/en
Guest guest
I hope you didn't lose the email I sent you today, just in case here are the details of where you can find some useful contacts in Sheffield. I heard there was a vegan group in Sheffield as well as various animal rights contacts and an animal rights group there too. See this webpage on the Animals Contacts Directory for contacts in your area: http://www.veggies.org.uk/acd/europe/UK/england/countys.htm#Sout If you have kids and you are bringing them up vegan, as many vegan parents are, you could always set up a vegan families group up there like we did in London. If there aren't enough vegans you could always decide not to be an exclusively vegan group but invite vegetarian families as well (there should be plenty of them around). I think it's quite important if you are bringing children up as vegans that you keep contact with like-minded people, so they will know they are not the only ones and are part of a community, and not isolated. The Vegan Society has a vegan families contact list so if you want to find your nearest vegan families you could put yourselves on it and look who is near to you. Sometimes this group is really busy, not sure why it's so quiet just now. Lesley Dove Valerie Garvey [tavarnasmum2002]02 June 2002 22:32 Subject: to say hiThank you for welcomeing me to vegan chat . Guest guest
Hi My name is Ricot, I tried unsubscribing and then I resubscibed to this group. Resetting my email choice to " NO EMAILS. " However, I continue to receive a deluge of emails. They are annoying and take up a few seconds in order to delete them. Is there anything I can do to stop the unsolicited emails? Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Your fellow vegan. With love and Respect, Ricot --- Lesley Dove <Lesley wrote: > > > I hope you didn't lose the email I sent you today, just in case here > are the > details of where you can find some useful contacts in Sheffield. > > I heard there was a vegan group in Sheffield as well as various > animal > rights contacts and an animal rights group there too. > > See this webpage on the Animals Contacts Directory for contacts in > your > area: > > http://www.veggies.org.uk/acd/europe/UK/england/countys.htm#Sout > > If you have kids and you are bringing them up vegan, as many vegan > parents > are, you could always set up a vegan families group up there like we > did in > London. Guest guest
Hi Ricot > I tried unsubscribing and then I resubscibed to this group. > Resetting my email choice to " NO EMAILS. " I've checked your settings - they are set to " no e-mail " . I know sometimes when you unsub from a group, you continue to get e-mails for up to about 24 hours, depending on how quick -groups happens to be running that day!!! If you've still got problems, it would be best to moan at - but let me know anyway, so I can moan at them as well!! BB Peter --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
