Sugar cow thanks you!World's First Vegetarian Musical Comedy Feature Film: www.TheGreatBamboosical.com Hey, I became vegetarian after I nearly died from the eating disorder anorexia nervosa. After that I saw everything in a different light and looked at the world in a different view. That included being compassionate to the earth and the beings on it. I was vegetarain for about 2 weeks then went vegan. It was a natural transition for me and felt right. Peace Carrie. Guest guest
Hi guys, sorry to step in... Raw Food? I'm sorry, I just can't. I mean that in my own personnal view of things, I need flavour. Like fast-food flavour you know? I've been vegan for three years, and the happiest moment I had in that timespan is when I discovered false meat and the Tofutti brand. Actually it was meeting my vegan girlfriend, but you get my drift. I had a friend who tried raw food for a while, but he could not endure... Even with a loving, dedicated wife to make the food for him every night, he could'nt eat it all the time (and my friend's wife? She KNOWS how to cook). Why is being a raw foodist so important? The animals live in peace (sic) we get great food in our bodies, and we feel great... Ain't nothing much a vegan can do more to help the planet or his body... Is raw veganism really easy to follow? I would not even dare.... Anyways, thats my 2 cents. Everybody's free to do whatever they want (exept to destroy my planet... oups to late!) Take care and see you soon. Guest guest
hmm, gotta take this to the nth degree I guess that'd be fruitarian, raw, organic, home-grown and hand harvested. zero collateral deaths, no transportation involved except feet, no energy used except human energy sure wish the authors of Becoming Vegan would research & author a book on fruitarianism - <EBbrewpunx Monday, June 10, 2002 3:08 PM Re: What's your story? Guest guest
because raw uses less energy..it takes gas , electricity etc to cook thats part of it there is also the whole " its better for you " aspect, as raw doesn't destroy enzymes and vitamains, cooking will change the shape of protiens and such fraggle " watchdog " <pascal wrote: > Hi guys, sorry to step in... > >Raw Food?
