Guest guest
What is a good, reasonably priced juicer for juicing greens? I have a juice man (centrifugal juicer), that rarely use it because it's very wasteful and a pain to use. I use a K-tec blender to juice/make smoothies (besides our things). kristi

Just a comment on what you said about it being wasteful...when I first started juicing it really bothered me how much pulp was left over. I started searching for ways to use the pulp and you can use it for crackers (among other things). You just take the pulp and combine it with a gelling substance (psyllium powder works or what I use is 1tbsp of soaked and ground flaxseed per 2 cups of veggie pulp). Then you just spread and dehydrate. If you make it thicker you can have wraps instead of crackers. Other things pulp can be used in are pates, smoothies, dips, soups, sauces, etc. -Abbey =) _______________ STOP MORE SPAM with the MSN Premium and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca & page=byoa/prem & xAPID=1994 & DI=1034 & SU=http://\ hotmail.com/enca & HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines
Guest guest
thanks for the great ideas regarding the leftovers from juicing. I love crackers. basic raw flax crackers but I haven't tried to put anything else in them that the great idea. Does wheatgrass take a specific type of juicer? kristi Abegael Drake wrote: > > Just a comment on what you said about it being wasteful...when I first > started juicing it really bothered me how much pulp was left over.
