Guest guest
What is the the difference between coconut oil and raw young coconuts (meat and water)? do you still derive benefits simply from eating coconuts? Guest guest
Denise, One other thing is that the mature coconut (brown in color) has the higher fat content and much richer flavor that the young coconuts. The coconut oil actually comes from mature coconuts. In general, natural foods for us are whole ripe raw foods, not processed. That would make the meat and liquids from coconuts, whether young or mature, better for us than the coconut oil (processed). That would also be true compared to fresh coconut milk, but it is sure decadent! (My body also tells me it prefers the whole food) Jeff > >What is the the difference between coconut oil and raw young coconuts >(meat and water)? do you still derive benefits simply from eating >coconuts? Guest guest
Jeff, Interesting notions expressed. I have been thinking about consuming much touted super virgin coconut oil but so far have not arrived. Your post suggests that snow white virgin oil is not all that it is cracked up to be. How sure are you of your ground? Denise, One other thing is that the mature coconut (brown in color) has the higher fat content and much richer flavor that the young coconuts.
