In my FAR FROM PERFECT STATE...lol...I'm quickly learning that movement, nutrition, water, and everything taken into the body and mind and/or which benefits the body and mind effects us on a spiritual level. However, that's an entirely different topic that I'm sure could go on and on for days. If breatharians do exist without food or water, I wonder if this is because they have evolved to a spiritual level that very few of us will ever see in this lifetime. I have not read much about them, but I'm willing to bet breatharians have deep spiritual interests. When food and fasting are viewed from a spiritual standpoint the purpose of each takes on an entirely different meaning. Lili(not religious but evolving spiritually) p.s. Guest guest
Lili, Breatharianism, OED authors please note, seem to spend their lives in a lotus position or some such. It is fascinating esoteric and commendable that the human spirit can indulge such concepts. Great original thinking. Am keen to hear more. Guest guest
It is definitely not for everyone. Most of us are still wrestling with overcoming sugar addiction, resisting a piece of bacon, or learning to combine raw foods. However, those who put spiritual evolvement first and foremost are on an entirely different plane of reference, have little use for material items, fame, social recognition, ect. Thus, there is plenty of free time to just BE(sit in lotus...lol). Again, very few of us will ever reach that level of spiritual growth, or ever have the desire to do so. I agree, they are to be commended. Would be interesting to view the world through their eyes for a mere 10 minutes.
