Guest guest
Hi Alex~ I am considering ordering some raw butter as it is illegal in the state of VA (even though they carry raw cheese, which I don't understand??). I was wondering how you incorporate it into the diet. I have been off all dairy for a couple years and everytime I think about how I would use the butter, I think of it in melted form. Now this defeats the purpose of getting it raw and adding it to my diet. So how do you eat it and incorporate it into a raw diet?? Thanks, Sandy P.S. The honey idea sounds fabulous but it flares my candida right up so it is out of the question.
Guest guest
I'm on Ann Wigmore diet now, so I mix it with sprouts, or just take a spoon and eat it mixed with honey. You should't heat it above room temperature because it will destroy valuable enzymes. Guest guest
Hi I was wondering how long you have been on the Wigmore diet and how are doing healthwise ect? Kathy
Guest guest
Sandy, The Masai Mara tribe mix fresh blood from cattle with the raw milk and churn it into some kind of a butter. It is only a suggestion as they appear to be exceptionally healthy people. I confess I am in no hurry to try it. Guest guest
Peter, Knowing that, I for one would never try it. It does not take much in my visual department to impart with my taste buds Thanks for that posting. I am glad they are healthy but I for one will pass on the raw butter. hugs, Tone - Peter Gardiner rawfood Tuesday, May 04, 2004 2:10 AM RE: [Raw Food] Raw Butter Sandy, The Masai Mara tribe mix fresh blood from cattle with the raw milk and churn it into some kind of a butter. Guest guest
We were on this diet for 4 years - one guy who recovered from terminal cancer introduced us to it. Its the greatest diet alive! We actually supplement it with raw eggs, butter and DIY goat cheese (optional). Day: 1/2 lbs sunflower seeds, 1/2 l fermented milk/yougurt. Optional: beans(sprouted), razins(fermented), rejuvenak drink, honey, raw butter, raw fermented eggs .
