Guest guest
Hi, Didn't get an answer the first time, so am trying again. The day after working out with heavy weights, or after doing heavy work, I wake up with flu-like symptoms that sometimes last more than a day. I have all of the typical flu symptoms, plus swollen glands in my neck. This has been going on for years. It doesn't happen after aerobic excercise, just after working with heavy weight. I thought this would get better after going raw, but it hasn't. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong with me, or how to make this better? Guest guest
Hi Vicky, This is just a thought but perhaps you are overtaxing your muscles, thus causing injury which is promoting your flu like symptoms. Try easing off of the heavy workouts and see if it improves. Post if anything different occurs and to just let us know what is going on. I used to body build before I had my son many years ago so this is why I am addressing you to the possibility of overtaxing and injury. Good luck Hugs, Tone > Hi, > > Didn't get an answer the first time, so am trying again. > > The day after working out with heavy weights, or after doing heavy > work, I wake up with flu-like symptoms that sometimes last more than > a day. Guest guest
Hi Vicki I am wondering if it is possible that your body is detoxing because of the intense workout. Typical flu like symptoms is often detoxing of poisins in your body,. You may consider a colon, liver detox. Kathy
Guest guest
You may have us all stumped. Maybe the anerobic, vs aerobic (sorry about spelling) is causing some kind stress on your lymphatic or other system. Colds and flus are about the body being compromised in some way, debilitated. Maybe your system is reacting to being overloaded in some way. Consider doing an enema next time, either right after or in the midst of the flu-like symptoms. OR maybe even before and after exercising. Perhaps clearing the elimination channels will help. I would consider using coffee for one of those enemas also. -a
