Guest guest
I'm not disagreeing that $39 is a great price, but I've heard that it's not a good dehydrator, so this is just a word of caution before you buy one there. We have the Excalibur and really really like it, it's going pretty much 24 hours a day. I know it's not cheap, but if you're going to be dehydrating a lot, you might consider the investment. Just one opinion. When it comes to quality, sometimes I think it's better to pay more and get something really worthwhile, especially if you'll be using it as much as I do, and if this is truly a life time commitment, which I'm sure it is for most of us. Guest guest
Michelle~ Thank you for the word of caution .I appreciate it. Can I ask though what the problems were with it? I definitely plan on using it, but not constantly as my schedule with two young ones kind of doesnt allow it. I borrowed a friends excalibur and I *loved* it. It was such a treat to have the stuff i was having bc of it. Its just that right now we really cant afford the excalibur. I could possibly save up for a while and then get it. thanks again Angela " Michelle N. Guest guest
I dont actually eat meat. When eating a SAD diet I did like soy jerky. Thanks for the heads up on the inexpensive dehydrator. I am going to research deydrators and see which works for me~~ Thanks again Angela Shirley <docwhite wrote: GO FOR IT!!! Guest guest
It would probley do the trick until we can afford an Excaliber,I know they're good. That's what I did when I needed a juicer, used a cheapie until I could buy a Champion. I save all my change and I've got almost $200 again in about 6 month's. Guest guest
Thanks so much. Yesterday was Mothers Day so we bought a 4 tray excalibur on ebay for $50 ..not too much of a financial difference. Now lets just hope that it isnt damaged or messed up in some way. If it is, at least now I hope I have a temporary and cheap option~ Angela studio53 <studio53 wrote: The Wal-Mart dehydrator info is here : http://tinyurl.com/2g8kv Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at HotJobs
