Guest guest
I am still breastfeeding but I have been for 27 months. I still eat one meal a day cooked. I got congested because of eating dairy. The only cleansing I am doing is natural stuff like spicy foods. They have not affected my son. I have been going raw probably 60% for over two months so I feel it is slow detox. I really believe the mucous is caused by dairy since in the past I have had problems with it. How long does it take to get it out of your system anyone know? Thanks Christina
Guest guest
I would say it depends on how much mucous are in your sinus cavities. Years ago, my husband had cat scan and they found his were full, which explained why he was so sick. He has weakness for cheese so it took years for him to heal. Now that we understand his problems, we did not go back to doctor. I did had mine but it wasn't full, yet it got infected. I had to take anitbotic for it and then I eventually got better slowly. Yours seem more severe than mine, and I would say it can take months. A friend of mine use salt water (ocean water or saline water) and sprayed it in his nose to get those salt to clean it out. You might want to look into that? I am sorry that I cannot help more on salt water since I do not know much about it and this friend of mine is not rawist. But maybe it can get you somewhere to get rid of it sooner than later. I will keep my eyes open for more information in case. Tina
Guest guest
The mucus will stop when the detoxing is done. Mucus is there for a purpose, to catch, isolate and eliminate toxins and germs. Before babies are weaned they're very mucussy because the immune systems have not yet built anitibodies to common microbes and the mucous is their first line of defense. This mucous is caused by the mucculoids in milk which are there for that purpose. If one continues to drink milk products after teething, then DuuuUUUH! First stop eating gratuitous muccoloids like milk and bread and continue the cleasing process until all the old mucus and stored toxins are eliminated. rusty - Re: [Raw Food] getting rid of mucous
