Guest guest
Hi Anne, I was the first to mention low body temp. I agree Anne, there appears at times that a lot of people are " pulling thinks out of the air " in this group. There is very little quoting of source material. There are lot of personal opinions being past around. In my email I did quote: On average, people who have a lower body temperature live longer, as do those with lower levels of insulin, and those with higher levels of DHEAS. Internet Source:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/2167316.stm I also said, " I've read somewhere people on a vegan diet their temperature run lower, but I can't find the quote. " I can't find the quote I read, I thought is way by David Wolfe, But this is the only quote I could find by him on body temperature. David Wolfe, stated, " My body temperature is about 1.8 degrees lower than it used to be! " http://www.rawfood.com/m2m1.html You might want to look at " lower body temperature " longevity on google.com: http://www.google.com/search?num=100 & hl=en & ie=UTF-8 & q=%22+lower+body+temperature\ %22+longevity You might want to look at " body temperature " metabolism longevity on google.com: http://www.google.com/search?num=100 & hl=en & lr= & ie=UTF-8 & q=%22body+temperature%22\ +metabolism+longevity & btnG=Search You may want to read an article by Ben Best, My Practice of Caloric Restriction with Adequate Nutrition . http://www.benbest.com/calories/cran98.html God bless you and yours, Dale P.S. I'm on my way to practice Caloric Restriction. So I guess, my beliefs and faith about temperature may differ from yours. - > Message: 1 > Wed, 19 May 2004 04:01:19 -0000 > " ms4runr2 " <ms4runr2 > Re: low body temp is a sign of hypothyroidism > > Would you care to quote any kind of support for this statement?? Guest guest
Thanks. I have tried a google search on low body temp but did not come up with anything. I'll try yours wording. I'll also pursue the low caloric info. I've read on it some but at the time knew it was impossible for me to try to control intake. Now that I've found I can eat less, but eating high in nutrition, it is more feasible. I'd also be very interested to hear of your experiences as/if you try this.-- anne
