Guest guest
Dale, Did you read Fredrik's second post? I think he clarified himself there. ~Wendy
Guest guest
I joined this group fairly recently because it was a raw foods eating group. I came in during the Mary controversy. I know I will get many nasty e-mails from this post but I know I can always hit delete. I enjoy being a part of this group for the most part. I especially enjoy it when I actually get some advice on raw eating which is why I signed up. What I don't like is being preached at by people taking the Bible entirely out of context. I know I don't have to read it and sometimes don't. I don't take offense to it because I know it is all part of God's plan until the time of rapture or death. I have been an active Christian all my life. I attend church and bible study. The point I am trying to make is that as a responsible Christian I feel that if you are going to use passages of the Bible to make some kind of argument you should at least understand the basic concept of the passage. I am not going to get in an argument with anyone on this list concerning this subject or make some long drawn out diatribe. The last e-mail with all of the references to Isaiah irked me. The Book of Isaiah concerns evil and corrupt kings and their legacies passed on to all of their children and the people they ruled over. To say this particular book should be a model for what we follow today as far as eating is irresponsible preaching and may have the effect of turning off someone who may otherwise decide to become a raw food eater or for that matter a Christian. I would just like to say to be careful what you preach without a full understanding of the subject matter. That is all I wanted to say. I will not debate anyone because I don't proclaim to be an expert. I feel better for what it's worth to anyone else. Lisa _______________ Is your PC infected? Guest guest
I agree with you Lisa, and I appreciate your courage...been flamed on these boards before (not this one) because I stated my opinion and was not of " the majority " . Guest guest
Well said, Lisa. And a big thank you to all of those who didn't like this discussion at all because their belief system is different, but let us work this out. I appreciate it! ~Wendy
