Hi All

I am being really brave and trying new veggies LOL.

I bought anise and jimaca...

I have no clue how to eat these??? Do you eat the leafy part of the anise.

I would like to eat raw if they are okay to use that way.

Inexperienced at the new stuff

Hi Kath,

Hope you are well. I just tried Jicama and love it! I just cut it up along

with tomato and put some raw ACV,alittle olive oil and some basil and sea salt

and it was good.I think too there is a recipe for Jicama fries if you have a

dehydrator (I don't just yet)

Let us know on the anise as I have not had that.

Be well and have a wonderful Holiday weekend

I too am trying new things. I Recently asked a gentleman who was buying anise, &

he said only eat the root part... no leaves or stalk. He says he uses it in a

salad, sliced thinly. also, alone sliced with a bit of oil & salt. I found it

quite good. I ask other store patrons about produce when they are buying it,

and most are more than happy to tell you about the product... what to look for,

how to eat, storeage, etc.
