Tri Sodium Phosphate. Get it in the paint section of your hardware store.

Wear rubber gloves.

This is not to be used carelesly, and it's not very envrionmentally

friendly* but it'll get rid of the mould once and then you can put it away,

and keep the mould away with the vinegar spray.

* TSP flushed into a slow water ecosystem like a lake or pond will provide

phosphate nutrients for algea and lead to eutrification of the pond eco

system. But into a sewer system that is treated or spills into the ocean or

fast flowing water, it's negligible.

If you want a natural approach, you could try

aromatherapy oils. Most oils in health food stores are diluted though, so

be cautious about what you buy. They may be cheaper, but they're cheaper

for a reason. I have no experience with using oils on mold, but I looked in

my Essential Oils Reference book and under " Mold, " it says, " Single Oils:

Cedarwood, Lemongrass, Lemon, Thyme, and Oregano. Blends: Purification and

Thieves. "

I second this!!! I have used the Blend called Thieves by Young Living on

some mold I had in my kitchen and it never came back. I've also heard diffusing

Purification will kill it in a heartbeat. I use the oils for everything!

They are wonderful!

Good stuff Linda, but the above are pretty expensive blends fromYoung

Living. You don't need a blend to get to the mould. I'd use Oil of Oregano

and/or Tea Tree Oil.

Bleach is alkaline.

Use an acid to keep mould away.

Vinegar is cheap and simple.

I need the recipe to spray right on the mold on my bedroom windows.

There is no recipe! I would try to keep it as full strength as possible. I

can look for testimonials and see what others have done. Do you have a ton

of mold? or just a bit? I might dilute it 50/50 and put it into a small

bowl and with gloves on, sponge the mixture on to the bedroom windows.

When I have a moment I can see what other suggestions I can find!
