Mold (question for Rusty)

Thanks, but now I'm a bit confused. (^__^)

How would I clean the mold? Just with a sponge and soap?

And then after I clean the mold, would I spray the area with white vinegar?

Or would I apply tea tree oil with a Q-tip? And then spray the vinegar?

Or only spray the vinegar after a few days when the tea tree oil has

eradicated the mold?

I need a step by step " recipe. "

Let's back up this thread as it's getting off topic and talking about

killing a fly with an a-bomb.

You don't need fancy blends.

Keep theives for your own body when you are going into highly contagious

areas. Purification is great for the air you live in but for getting rid of

the mould stick to your two basic anti fungal oils and those are:

1) Oil of Oregano.

2) Tea Tree Oil [melaleuca].

The OoO is strongest but is very harsh to the skin surface so be careful.

The Tea Tree is gentler but should work.

-

Clean the mould and then rub one of the above oils on the surface.

Now to keep it off let's get back to more natural. Spray or spritz full

strength vinegar on the areas after each cleaning and the mould will stay

away. Young Living has lots of wonderful blends for many purposes but don't

waste Hi grade expensive oils on mere mould.

Thanks! When you say Pure White Vinegar, is there any other type?

spritz the area with pure white vinegar. This should do the trick. If not

repeat the process using Oil Of Oregano, but wear rubbers glove if you use

OoO. It's super powerful.

I know about all the other types of non-white vinegar. What I meant was, is

there more than one variety of White vinegar! LOL. Such as: distilled or

pure.

Hi

You said

I'd scrub the mould off with and old toothbrush and then scrub the tea

tree oil in with the same toothbrush and wipe dry. You may wish to appy the

tea tree again one day later. This should get rid of the mould.

My question

Are you using theraputic oils or are you using the standard oi;ls?

I applied the tea tree oil with a Q-tip which I then threw away. Are you

saying a toothbrush would be more effective at removing the mold?

I don't know, I just passed on what I used, an old toothbrush. However I do

think a tb would be a better scrubber than a q-tip. And btw I used Oil of

Oregano, but tea tree is also an anti microbial oil just not as hot as OoO.

I used Young Living OoO, but in my experience you can get cheaper fresh

stuff of good quality if you have a local retail store that keeps them

protected and has a fast rollover. OoO is very powerful and even the 'cheap

stuff' usually works for this. Melauca or 'tee tree' is more common but you

can find good qualtiy. The Aromafresh line is pretty good and available in

most areas, but again, how long has it been on the shelf? For just killing

mould you shouldn't need to spend too much.
