Guest guest
Hi, My 10 year old son has been raw for about 3 years, and recently started up with eczema. We cannot seem to get a handle on it. The worst part is the itch (and then the scratch). I'm doing a few things - calendula/colloidal silver, wrapping at night, and we just started msm and nettle, but it's not enough. Short of throwing ourselves on the mercy of a healing center (no $), or taking out a loan to buy some Ejuva, any ideas from anyone who has dealt with this before? Many thanks, Kathy Ithaca NY
Guest guest
The body produces skin conditions as a means of ridding itself of toxins. The body uses the skin when necessary as an extraordinary avenue of elimination for stored up toxins, although the body is continually eliminating normal toxins via the skin. We are taught that disease is exogenous, that it comes from out there somewhere, but in actuality it is the body which institutes all disease, or any form of it, and it does so as a means of cleansing and healing. If we put substances on or in the body in an attempt to force the body to stop the disease process--the body stops the disease to protect itself from the substance applied or taken--then we stop the healing process, the elimination of toxins. We need to instead cooperate with our bodies, by leaving the body alone to do its work. We get out of the way and we let our body's incredible wisdom do its work to heal us. I had eczema for many years, and it became exacerbated when I went raw. Eventually it went away. The itching is a part of it, and it may feel even more irritated in the sun. Discomfort is a part of disease, but the body never gives us any more discomfort than we can handle. If we don't feel well, it's a sign the body is trying to get us to lay down and rest and sleep, as most, if not all, healing occurs during sleep, as Dr. Herbert Shelton wrote. Here is a book by Dr. Shelton that you can read in its entirety on- line free, explaining further about disease: http://www.soilandhealth.org/02/0201hyglibcat/020125shelton.pristine/ 020125toc.htm Here is the classic book by Dr. Tilden about disease, you can read it in its entirety on-line free: http://www.soilandhealth.org/02/0201hyglibcat/020103toxemia/02010301. html Here is a great article by Dr. Bernarr about skin conditions: http://www.healself.org/ACNE.html.
