Guest guest
Okay, I know I've provided no one with any help and have done nothing, but ask questions, but if you can't tell already, I'm more than a little clueless about the raw vegan lifestyle. I read in several posts that certain beans and things will make you ill and are toxic. So I'd like to know if anyone can give me an extensive lists of which raw foods won't kill or harm me. If there's too many and you don't feel like writing them all down, can you post a link that will tell me which ones I can eat without a backlash affect? Also, if it's a free link I'd be happier because I've noticed that when I did surf most of the resources online kept pointing to expensive books instead of just listing the foods. I'm kinda strapped for cash and if I do buy a book it has to be one of those " everything you need to know about raw foods " type of books and the ones that I've seen thus far are the type that you have to get a follow-up book for and then a follow-up book for the first follow-up book and so on and so on... I do intend to purchase books, but for now can anyone just please provide me with THE LIST?! Thanx
Guest guest
I don't know where you get the information about beans being toxic and make you ill. I am aware some people can eat beans and some people cannot. I sprouts beans and eat them raw with no problem. As matter of fact, I love them! I read past posts for gathering information and save links for later reading. It was well worth my time doing so. I do not buy books because I understand some have conflicting informations, which makes it more confusing. I feel I need to know more about those people that wrote these books, to determine whether they are doing it for money or what. I just rely on my common sense, read what others say about certain foods and what they've experiences. There is no money to spend on, and these people want to share what they've experiences. It is well worth it, for my health sakes. This lady shared her experience on the web and she have free ebook that you can download for your reading. http://www.dyingtogetwell.com This link provides lists of all different links for different things. http://www.living-foods.com/links.html This link provides lists of beans for sprouting and will specify some beans that must be cooked, so this tells me not to order these beans for raw eating. http://www.sproutpeople.com/ http://www.rawfoodfocus.com/ Hope this helps to get you somewhere. Raw lima beans have apparently killed people - raw kidney beans aren't so great either. I've never heard of anything else raw that really needs avoiding.
