Good morning everyone,

My name is Carol, am 49 years old and live in San Antonio TX. I work

as a pharmacy tech in a long term care pharmacy.

I want to learn to eat raw. I have tried but need help. Can you help

me with a meal plan of what is recomended. Is there a book that

explains it simple.

Also how do you deal with people who laugh for eating this way.

Thanks to everyone

Carol

There has been lots of information written on this list, including

recently, which I believe will be very helpful for you. Please go to

the list website, and click on the last message at the bottom, then

keep reading backwards in the archives. Also, you can do a search

under specific topics. Here's the url to read the archives:

I have found with the various ways I have had to eat in the past ( unless it is

very crucial as in an allergy) that not telling them anything works for me or

simply saying I don't like it or that. IF someone is really interested they will

be observant and ask you more at another time. Granted this idea might not

always work. Also there are many people today who are eating differently and

many people who HAVE to eat specifically for health concerns is another reply.

Not many people can eat like they did as kids or young adults for all of their

life...some day things may change for them as well.

I work in a pizza place and everyone there knows I am Raw foodist. I

never eat anything from there. I can always back up my point of being

raw. Once people know you are happy and healthy and practice what you

preach, they can't really say anything about it. All they can do is

wonder why you do it and observe how you live, then if what they see

is good then they might try it too. I never try to push it on people,

but once confronted with it I will definately have lots to say about

it until the subject quickly gets changed for who knows except they

probably don't want to get rid of their addiction to cooked food.
