Thank you for the recipe. People have been so kind

sharing their recipes with me. I do not have a

dehydrator, nor any plans on obtaining one, as when I

move to my earth house in 2 years time I won't have

any electricity for awhile!! Im HOPING that making

the 'bars' and coating them in rice flour might help

them not stick together in storage... and as I am not

planning on pigging out on them, making them fresh in

small quantities every few days SHOULD in theory

work... wish me luck, and thanks again for replying.

Hi again,

I just made some really good raw carob bars without a dehydrator or dried

fruits. I didn't use any specific amounts, just eyeballed it, but here are the

ingredients:

Chopped/slivered almonds

dates (you don't need many)

sesame seeds

shredded coconut

carob powder

They taste just like these Carob Energee Nuggets I used to buy, but these ones

are raw!

Don't forget that nuts and seeds should be soaked first. I just made

halvah by soaking the almonds 12 hours, grinding them in the food

processor, dehydrating a couple of hours, and then mixing with the rest

of the ingredients. I think the recipe was posted here a couple of days ago.
