Guest guest
Thank you for the recipe. People have been so kind sharing their recipes with me. I do not have a dehydrator, nor any plans on obtaining one, as when I move to my earth house in 2 years time I won't have any electricity for awhile!! Im HOPING that making the 'bars' and coating them in rice flour might help them not stick together in storage... and as I am not planning on pigging out on them, making them fresh in small quantities every few days SHOULD in theory work... wish me luck, and thanks again for replying. rainbow ===== " A Native American grandfather was talking to his grandson about how he felt. He said, I feel as if I have two wolves fighting in my heart. One wolf is the vengeful, angry, violent one. The other wolf is the loving, compassionate one. The grandson asked him, Which wolf will win the fight in your heart? The grandfather answered, The one I feed. "
Guest guest
Hi again, I just made some really good raw carob bars without a dehydrator or dried fruits. I didn't use any specific amounts, just eyeballed it, but here are the ingredients: Chopped/slivered almonds dates (you don't need many) sesame seeds shredded coconut carob powder They taste just like these Carob Energee Nuggets I used to buy, but these ones are raw! Guest guest
Don't forget that nuts and seeds should be soaked first. I just made halvah by soaking the almonds 12 hours, grinding them in the food processor, dehydrating a couple of hours, and then mixing with the rest of the ingredients. I think the recipe was posted here a couple of days ago. Martha
