Bee sting therapy and MS. ( I believe it was MS) I think people with

that would be clamering for raw honey if it contained the venom, which

it does not.

People actually wanting bee venom, as " therapy " ! It's just another

extreme form of palliation. And of cruelty. Honey bees lose their

lives if they sting, because their stinger is ripped out of them. The

way to heal MS, and any other condition, is to stop poisoning the

body. Bee venom is simply another poison heaped upon poison already

in the body. It does no good at all--people mistake the palliation of

symptoms for health. Despite people's attempts to complicate

everything, health is incredibly simple, it's idiot-proof.

Unfortunately, humans are so intent on poisoning themselves, they

can't reason or see the forest for the trees. Poor bees.

I can't understand the mentality of the " Earth First "

folks. They cry when bees are killed, but support

abortion. I am confident southladogs in pro abortion.

Am I correct ?

I don't know, but they sound like " Sally Good Bodies " to me. I find

the obsessive behavior somewhat un-nerving. I would venture they are

quite young and think they know what they are talking about. At my age

I no longer care who tells me what. I like bees. I raise bees. Bees

like me, I can wander among my bees without a suit or mask. I'll bet

they would be terrified. I base my diet on Rodale's Raw diet, I eat

raw meat and fish. Sorry all you strict vegans, I believe the group

name is " Raw " . I also believe I am intitled to follow the dictates of

" my " beliefs while you follow yours.

Amen Bunny. My bees are free and wonderful creatures as most of the people who

help them out

around here. I love them, and do what I can to help them as well as the wild

bees. Though my diet is

plant based, I do use raw honey and only the ignorant protest based on myth and

absurd notions.

We are all free to choose what we ingest and this judemental radicalism is

tiresome. Raw is raw and that could be many types of foods...not just fruit!

" This group supports a Vegan Raw Food Diet. Please don't come here trying to

promote other diets.

This is a friendly group of people. We welcome debate, but do it without

name calling and anger in the posts. Negative posts and posters will be

banned. "

Of course everyone is entitled to make up their own mind and eat how they

believe is best for their health and that of the planet. But bottom line is

that the description of this group includes the above (and anyone who has

forgotten that should go and read it) so I can fully understand people

getting a bit upset when people ignore it. I (and most others here) am here

for support in following a healthy raw vegan diet and see no point in petty

off-topic harping and accusations. Please allow harmony to resume here,

instead of discouraging those who give a lot of valuable time from doing so.

This is the most valuable egroup I to. Nuff said.

Thank you Sara.

Animal rights = OK, but let's be respectful of views on both sides of

the issure. Present your opinion without attacking.

Abortion = NOT ok. It's off topic. If ever there was an inflamatory

topic this is it. Post abortion comments on appropriate boards and

not here.

Thanking people for voicing their differing opinion in a friendly

manner = OK. We are not all right on every issue. How will we grow if

we don't hear opposing views. An overly defensive posture is seldom

welcome or productive.

Off-topic:

During my ride into work this morning I had this thought. I was

thinking how limiting our love causes problems. If everyone loved

everyone else and everything else it would be ideal. But we are far

from that ideal. Some people's love ends with living things, some

with people, with race, nationality, community, friends and family,

raw foodist, family, or self. Why some people don't even love

themselves. The smaller our cirle of love gets the more problems we

create and can expect. Beyond our circle is where we think it is ok

to use and abuse.

So where does your love end?

It's so easy to love someone else when they are just like ourself. I

guess it confirms us, our lifestyle, our opinions. But the real test

is seeing how far your love extends to those who are different.

I'm sorry to say that sometimes my circle is smaller than it could

be. But just understanding and appreciating how precious life itself

is helps me to widen my circle of love. The Universe is mostly made

up of dead material. Life is rare and precious. Be joyful we are not

rocks. If there is one thing you share with everyone else it's the

gift and mystery of life itself. Let's appreciate and hold on to

that one postive fact and strive widen our cirle.
