Guest guest
Can anyone recommend a Vita-Mix? They seem awfully expensive, but I'd love to hear from someone who actually uses it regularly and can sing its praises. Rose
Guest guest
I love my vitamix. I make soups, dressings, and flax crackers, routinely. Soups most often. With a vitamix, you don't even need a juicer: you can just get a " nut milk bag " or a stocking, or a strainer, and it's often faster to filter pulp that way than to use a juicer. Guest guest
All I can say is. . . JUST GET IT. Probably one of the best investments you'll ever make. Close your eyes to the price. I remember as far back as 1979 I cried about paying $199.00 for the Vita Mix and who'd of thought that in 2002 I'd purchase one for $399.00. I wouldn't trade it now for anything. Here are a few more things you can whip up: Nut butters Ice cream mayo catsup mustard dressings smoothies raw bread live oatmeal whipped cream and much, much more. Guest guest
Can you briefly describe how to make flax crackers in your vitamix? Margie Roswell <mroswell wrote:I love my vitamix. Guest guest
I use my Vitamix daily. I bought it years ago at a garage sale (cheap!). It has lasted a LONG time. Look in your local paper, etc. You don't have to pay $400 for one (although they are worth it!) blessings, Leslie
Guest guest
> Can anyone recommend a Vita-Mix? They seem awfully expensive, but <snip> Expensive but well worth the money. Smoothies (summer is a perfect time for berries), pesto, raw salad dressing, raw sour cream; there are lots of raw reasons to have a vita-mix, and I just love mine (now to add a dehydrator and a sprouter to my kitchen). I do like my juicer (now thinking of the carrots I should be juicing). Jenn
