Guest guest
A friend of mine went to one of David's three day retreats, and enjoyed himself, but was shocked when he heard that David was absolutely convinced that the moon landing was a hoax. He had everyone watch a video made by people trying to prove it was a hoax. I once went to a raw retreat in NM and left early because the lady running the retreat could not stop talking about government conspiracies. She was convinced that the planes flying above were government owned, and were dropping chemicals with mind control agents in them. This was so the government could control us. I bring this up for a reason. We often talk about getting our message out there, or spreading the word. We have found something good, that can help us, others and the world, and thus want to get everyone else into it. The problem is often that we are too out there to be taken seriously. Our message will be lost if we corrupt the message with lunacy. Our true prophets are the likes of Dr. Doug Graham; clean cut, athletic with both feet on the ground. I was introduced to raw by Dr. Norman Walker. He is about as normal as they come. If they were radical vegans talking about the enslavement, and slaughter of bees, I probably would have kept on walking. If we try to tell folks that raw is good for you, and, oh-by-the-way the moon landing was a hoax, we are going to turn off all but the most freaky of folks. Oh, and who is this Burke guy telling us we cannot discuss this topic. I'm telling you, one in nine of us is really creepy. Guest guest
Rufus, My apologies, I mean not to condemn a topic but only wish that people were more often given the ability to receive on of the greatest things life has to offer, " Personal Experience " It seems, based off of your argument below you feel the same way, furthermost, people are often categorized by others in the way in which they are listened to by others, thus creating a single personal experience, not one for the masses to buy into or be subjected to because someone is mad about the way in which they translated there personal experience, for the experience then takes on a new form referred to as " Gossip " If you are interested you may visit www.livingintheraw.com to find out more about me, It will give you more information about " who I am " then what you will potentially receive (null) from this warn out thread. " Reply: 'If a mechanical robot made a rude remark to you, you would not feel offended, for your ego would not feel threatened by a mere machine. But because you fail to see that most people are equally mechanical, you attribute an ego to them, which causes your ego to think they can harm you. When you deeply see the man-machine behind human personality, you cannot be offended.' " _______________________________ Declare Yourself - Register online to vote today! http://vote. Guest guest
I agree completely, it's best to focus on the raw foods than extraneous stuff, raw food is way more important for us and the world. Some of these conspiracy theories may be right, they may not, but we're pretty sure about raw food. I have noticed rediculous zeal and dogmatism among certain of the raw food crowd. We're not the chosen people or anything! I never had the oppurtunity to go to mr wolfes retreats and had I been sujected to such lunacy I would lost my sweet disposition. Good point made. I'll keep my eyes peeled for charlitans (phoneys) Rufus Shaw <rufus10_99 wrote:A friend of mine went to one of David's three day retreats, and enjoyed himself, but was shocked when he heard that David was absolutely convinced that the moon landing was a hoax. Guest guest
I saw a video exposing the moon landing hoax. They did a horrendous job faking it. With today's technology they could have done a better job. Once you see the evidence there's no doubt. Please do your own investigations. Not everything we see on TV is true! rawfood , Shay Butter <sheabuddah> wrote: > > Thanks! Guest guest
Hello folks! This is my first post in here. Ive just been watching for about a week now. I decided to respond to this post, simply because it caught my attention. I happen to be familiar with the topic of conversation here (namely: moon landing hoax and " chem trails " ). I personally dont put a whole lot of thought into these ideas one way or the other these days, but I have done the research. As for David Wolfe, I think its a bit much to say he's a phoney. I guaruntee he knows more about raw food that probably anyone on this list. On the other hand, I was never very attracted to him or he teachings. Some of you may be familiar with a guy named Dr. Gabriel Cousens, MD. He has written a number of books on raw food and spirituality. I worked at his retreat center, The Tree of Life, for 3 months. He happens to believe completely in the existance of chem trails (the poison that is being dropped from government jets) and has implied he believes the moon landing was a hoax, tho I dont recall a definitive statement from him on that one. Of course, he has a lot more to lose from making public statements on such things, being an actual MD with a holistic practice, besides runnin a retreat center and being a well-known author. Besides any of this, I find something ironic. Those of you calling David Wolfe a lunatic, are you yourselves being called lunatics by most of the world population for your beliefs. And those people are in turn being called lunatics by another chunk of the population for some other belief, and so on. We're just a planet full of lunatics calling eachother lunatics. In the words of Bob Marley, " Judge not, for you judge yourself. " PS. Ive seen the moon landing hoax video, and some of it can be quite convincing. Its also easy to research online. I even cross-referenced with the NASA site. PPS. Sorry for adding to this thread... I wont do it again, I promise! ..:Jason:. rawfood , Shay Butter <sheabuddah> wrote: > > Thanks!
