Guest guest
Hi Erin, It is easy: Can you see that three little dark circles on the top of the coconut? Just one of them is very easy to penetrate (with a knife, scissors or a key... ). Find this one and penetrate through it. Drink the milk. Throw the empty coconut on the ground as strong as you can. The coconut meat will separate from the shell by itself. Just wash it and enjoy it, Katarína
Guest guest
Katarina has it right. An addition to Katarina's advice, is to GENTLY put the coconut in three to five plastic bags, (one plastic bag placed in another plastic bag X's 4) and then THROW it on Cement, outside of the house Sasha ---- rawfood 11/28/04 22:18:40 rawfood [Raw Food] coconuts (for Erin) Hi Erin, It is easy: Can you see that three little dark circles on the top of the coconut? Guest guest
My problem is when I have done this, the shell breaks up into small pieces, but the meat still needs to be pried from the shell. I've never had the meat separate from the shell on its own. Do you think it may be an issue of ripeness or something? It literally takes more than an hour for me to come up with a decent amount of meat, so I've basicly given up on mature coconuts; I'll use the young ones instead. Peace, Valerie Essentially Sasha <sasha wrote: Katarina has it right. Guest guest
I just have a drill that I drill two holes in one side and one in the other (for air) and pour it into a cup to get the liquid out.
