Guest guest
Maybe we should all (me included) just agree to disagree on this. Some of us think salt is poison and some others of us think it has important minerals - and again some others of us think it is alright in moderation. To each his own. Each learns from what his body tells him. I don't have time to look up all the recourses where I have read the things that I believe to be truth for me. What I am saying is that we get all the vitamins and minerals we need from plant life and I don't feel we need to eat dried sea water. I have never heard that " we came from the sea " . I guess if you believe that you are a descendent from a sea creature then that is your choice. I personally do not believe I came from the sea and my evidence is the Bible (but we are not here to discuss religion). When I eat any type of salt other that the sodium from plant life I am so puffed up the next day my hands and feet are painful. So, I guess to each his own. I just think that anyone starting out trying to learn about the raw food lifestyle should be encouraged to read as much as possible and do what works best for their bodies. Guest guest
Don't you think there is an absolute truth? Somethings arn't 'to each is own'.Do you think salt can be poison to one and healthy (in small amounts) for others? I don't think there is *anyone* who could live with out any salt, they would die. I'm not trying to shout this out, I'm open to debate and learning. Maybe I'm wrong and need to change, but I believe that everyone *needs* salt to some degree. Guest guest
Very well put Bharti. Listening to your body is usually wiser than anything you can read and most of the time what we need is found in the foods we eat. When I start to crave excess sugar salt ect I sample different live foods rather than look for something that can be purchased in a box. Agree to disagree is a great idea. rawfood , Bharti Padmanabhan <b_padmanabhan> wrote: > > Maybe we should all (me included) just agree to disagree on this. > > Some of us think salt is poison and some others of us think it has important minerals - and again some others of us think it is alright in moderation. Guest guest
Ahhhhhhh!! Perfection.......But it does exist. Perfection is . . . . " when you can enjoy life, regardless, whether or not it happens to be something that you are enjoying or not enjoying. " Perfection is allowing and/or accepting what is, to be just as it is, and not trying to change, modify, or make it different somehow. It is Perfectionism, Perfectionistic, Perfectionist as ideas or beliefs that do not truly exist, except in mind only. If the mind can create it, it can as well, uncreate it. But having debates like this are generaly good, as long as no one takes things personal or gets personal when arguing. I like to have my ideas challenged. It sometimes makes me see that I am wrong then I learn or it helps confirm them and I have more confidence. I just hope everyone can stay on friendly terms after we have disagreements.
