At Roman and Antje's Retreat in MALIBU on Saturday DEC. 25TH starting at

12 NOON. Away from the cook food frenzy, spend Christmas with like-minded

Directions: Driving north on PCH, pass Leo Carillo and the Ventura county

border sign. Turn right after the restaurant, Neptune's Net, into Yerba Buena

Road. After about 2.3 miles, turn right on Yellow Hill Road steep up the

mountain, then left on Wells Road and follow the wooden arrow to number

9680 Wells Road. Drive through the gate and please park your car at the

upper level. The party will be at the level just below the parking area. Please

NON-TREATED WITH FUNGICIDES.

 

Full of juice and flesh just in the right maturity. Extraordinary flavor and

undergone the usual bleaching, fungicide and preservative treatments. The

young coconuts currently made available by Asian markets are imported by

boat. The transit time is somewhere between three to four weeks. To

Our young coconuts are flown in which gives us a transit time of about 30

hours, so no treatment is required. Transportation by airplane is unfortunately

How much is a smal durian? I just want to try it I have heard alot about it but

have never been able to get one anywhere.

Hi Renata,

 

In order to save on shipping costs we have people in Thailand take the flesh

out of the shell prior to shipping. This also allows us to have more control

over

the quality (no hard, unripe durian). At this point one pound of flesh only is

$13. Usually the weight ration between flesh and shell is slightly over 3,

meaning the flesh is less than the third of the weight of the entire fruit.
