Guest guest
Lane, I only use any herb lax if I absolutely need it as I believe the raw food should do what we need it to. Even tho Shulze says to take so much of his...I prefer the Jensen cleanse if things aren't working right or you really need to get cleaned out, and only use lax herbs then. D of DH Thanks Diana. The information is helpful. I am not ready to do this yet, but may be in about six months or so. I also like Dr. Shutlze a lot and use no1 regularly. I sometimes wonder if I should wean from it now that I am raw, which should theoretically do the trick on its own. Guest guest
I probably will never do any formal cleanse and just figure that the raw food diet will eventually clean out all my impaction. Guest guest
I have decided to not do any kind of colon cleansing in the future, as well; my experiences in the past have not been positive, and I think I need to just gently treat my body for the years I have ahead; it's been pretty roughly treated in the past! So, I'm with you on this one, Rich! I worked for a doctor and assisted him in procto's and never saw any of the " plaque " that some speak of. The digestive system is lined with very delicate mucous tissues very similar to that in your mouth. I would think that some of these abrasive contents and herbs would be very hard on these tissues. And if you put a lot of this clay, physilleum and herbs thru it, it is going to come out looking like something that has been in there a long time. I think the best that we can use to gently cleanse our system is fruits. The juice of fruits is very cleansing and the fiber is soft and gentle enough to move things right along. Just my opinion, but you can buy a lot of fruit for what you would pay for colon cleansers. Vegigran
Guest guest
I have to agree, Vegigran; here is a link to an article I have shared with a couple other groups, and if I already shared it here, forgive the redundancy; but it pretty much sums up very well a lot of the other research I've investigated in other areas: http://www.rawschool.com/colonics.htm Dr. Joel Fuhrman (who wrote Fasting for Life and Eat to Live) also speaks out pretty strongly against any kind of invasive procedure and cleanses with regard to the colon. I know there are folks who swear by daily or every other day enemas, etc., but I have found myself wondering if we are affecting our body's natural ability to function in the area of elimination by forcing it this way. Guest guest
Enemas and colonics go against the natural direction of the body and can force elimination back up. It's like vomiting. It makes me feel horrible, because those contents are going the wrong way. Guest guest
Could I have those images on 16 " x 20 " glossies so I can hang them in my room and admire them daily? Such interesting shapes. I could almost smell them through the internet. Did your impactions look anything like those Diana?
