Guest guest
Shalom Harvesting Sun Fooders & Friends! New Date for Sunday Oct 31st Halloween Housewarming Potluck & Candymaking! Eric, Stephen & Shakti's place. Specifics for the event will be posted on Raw Seattle mid-week. Due to lack of attendance, the candymaking sunfood prep & yoga will be included in our party package! Details below... Instead we will host a Halloween party and potluck. All those of you were unable to attend the class today are invited to join me for a yoga class before our party begins at 7pm. If you'd like yoga, come w/ your mat & a suggested donation of $10. We will sit down to a shared meal afterwards. Arrive early so you can get settled for yoga by 6pm. All other attendees are welcome to come any time after 7pm. As for yummy low glycemic Halloween treats, there will be a fun pinata experience at about 8pm! =) Kids are encouraged with adult participation! This will be a great way to introduce trick or treaters to the good stuff! Check back in a few days to www.rawseattle.org for further details. Hope you can make it. If you have any questions, call me at 206-274-4514. Peace ~Shakti
Guest guest
I am not coming to this event or any Shakti events. The way how she organizes events and then cancels them in a very last minute without real reason, this is not serious, no responsibilities, kindergarten. shaktishekinahparvati <shaktishekinahparvati wrote: Shalom Harvesting Sun Fooders & Friends! Guest guest
I feel Shakti's notice of her cancellation was a curtesy to the list. On the listing in the calendar, she requested an RSVP from participants. On this email list she had mentioned a registrations. I'm sure she would have contacted anyone privately, that had registered for the class, so the additional email served to notify others who had not registered. When chefs and instructors make changes in there classes/talks, as has happened many times on this list, we often to not know the reasons for the changes. I adjust my plans accordingly and do not judge the situation. I'm sure Shakti will offer interesting and educational classes. I certainly would not hold recent changes against her, especially as she has just moved into a new space and is working to prepare for and schedule events. Guest guest
I was one of the registered attendees. Shakti phoned me to let me know of the postponement ahead of time.
