Good evening,

The co-op store in my area has started carrying Gopal's raw food items, power

wraps, cookies, etc. I've tried them all now and they are glorious, according

to the store employees they have been very popular. I'm hoping they become

popular enough to get the store to carry more items.

Any advice or experience with their products would be appreciated, so I can know

what to recommend.

Thanks.

I think they are yummy and I also think it would be

fun to try to make them from scratch. try getting some

nori and rolling them up with your favorite curry pate

or italian 'cheeze' pate or maybe a nut butter and

then stick e'm in the food dryer overnite...yum for

the tum and the budget!

Shakti,

I agree on the yummy. I used to make my own, I learned from Karen Parker's

class using shredded carrots. I never had the patience to wait for them in

the dehydrator though, so having them dried was new.

Thanks for the response

Nick

Hi Nick,

My Co-op as well carries the stuff. I am liking most of the products.

The Nori rolls (if I am correct on the name) took me alittle bit to

get use to, but now I am addicted to them :)

The carob brownies are quite yummy. Sadly, I need to rememeber to

drink more water when I do eat dried items.

Helen,

Thanks for the feedback. Our co-op hasn't gotten the brownies yet, but

everything else is selling so well I expect they will expand their

offerings.

I miss you and the other raw Seattle members. Hope everyone is well.

Nick,

Are you mistaking the new Helen for the old Helen. This is Helen in Seattle.

Helen,

Welcome to RawSeattle, new Helen! You don't need to try to bring down the fever.

It doesn't hurt you unless you are having a fever over 105 F. Fever arises

because the body is fighting the germs, so you just need to rest and let nature

take its course.

Helen,

Actually I'm still not certain which one I'm talking to. I put my city name

in my signature line to help avoid such mix-ups. I did think I was talking

to Helen from Seattle.
