Guest guest
Hello all, my computer was quicker then me this afternoon and I apologize for prevous the empty email. I am into herbal healing and can help with some of the questions you may have about healing yourself. This missive is to start you off on your quest for a healthier life. B-12 B-12 is something that we all need to maintain a healthy life. Now as a vegan I have often heard that we can't get our B-12 from just veggies. Well, if you have been eating all raw organic vegan for six months, you will be able to do so. Even if you don't eat vegan, I have information on how you can get stronger " good " bacteria in your system for pennies a day. Before I go into how you can make sure you are receiving enough B-12, a brief lesson on the digestive tract. Many folks don't know it, but cooked food is toxic to any mammal's body. Dr. Pottenger did some fascinating work with cats and raw food that I won't go into beyond suggesting that you look it up for more info... Our bodies react to us eating cooked food by coating our bodies with a mucus lining from mouth to elimination portal. (Just take a look at your tongue and see if you can see that thin white coating.) Now this can present some problems to us. Depending on how much processed and cooked food you eat the mucus can build up in your system causing havoc. When our bodies have too much mucus to handle we have lots of systems, Candida, migraines, fat, cancer, diabetes, Chron's, even those tiny pimples that start on our upper arms and spread, eventually, to all of our skin. The way to change that is to include more and more raw organic veggies and fruits into our diet and less and less of the processed packaged foods. There are side effects of course. One is that you will lose weight, and another is that you might gain energy. I also do " cleansings " by going on a juice fast. While these are wonderful and strength your system, it is only fair to warn you that sometimes you feel worse for a bit during them. For example, when I started my journey into raw fooding, I did the carrot juice cleansing for three days. Felt great but on the second day, I swear I had a violent cold for about 45 minutes, sneezed lots of times, etc and then it was over. Other fasts and cleansings I have done to help my fight against cancer and diabetes (in remission and lost 30 pounds so far) " mimicked " other times of various sickness that I had, all mercifully short in my case, and each was releasing the toxins stored in my fat cells by my liver etc when my body was ill. Once I had expelled them from my body, I felt so good! Now this needs to be understood. I was warned in advance so I knew that I could have symptoms of illnesses etc while my body was de-toxing. I have heard of too many people dosing themselves with OTC suppressants during the unpleasantness of illnesses, not realising that they are hampering their body. Low grade fevers are the way your body forces the production of more disease fighting white blood cells. Sneezing, runny noses, coughing, vomiting, even diarrhia can all be ways of eliminating toxins from your system. Unpleasant, but actually good for you. There are herbal means of assisting you during times of unbalance, to strengthen the body and replace what is missing. The key is to hear your body, not the candida, toxins, or addictions. As you learn to listen to your body, you can learn to release toxins, replace missing needs, become less acidic and give your body the tools it needs to heal itself. For instance, as you clean out your body, you can replace the good bacteria in your digestive tract, in a natural way, with stuff you might have in your own kitchen. Making organic cabbage work for you: Taking an organic cabbage (just a few leaves will do it) and chop it into fine pieces. Place in a large glass jar, closing tightly. Leave at room temperature. Yes it will ferment. After four days, strain the liquid, storing it in glass only and save. (Refridgeration will help it keep, and its flavor is less intense when chilled.) Each day drink 4 to 8 ounces. This is full of the good bacteria that produces B-12 from the organic raw fruit and veggies that you eat. If you are going to be eating the Standard American Diet (i.e. " SAD " ) you will want to make this a regular thing. Next post I will send info on Total (or Super) Tonic. My husband and daughter both work in the public, meeting hundreds of people. While their co-workers get sick with colds, flu's, etc, they remain healthy due to their taking some tonic each day in plain distilled water. Guest guest
I'm confused about this recipe, if you use only a few leaves of cabbage to ferment how will I have " 4-8 " ounces of juices to drink? Wouldn't I need to use more cabbage leaves to ferment? Rachel " Making organic cabbage work for you: Taking an organic cabbage (just a few leaves will do it) and chop it into fine pieces.
