Guest guest
Since Fibromyalgia has a lot to do with the way we sleep (the body does not relax with this illness and that alone causes much of the pain), taking GABA can re-do the sleep patterns for healing. Take 3 GRAMS to start an hour before bedtime. Of course, rawfoods help a lot. The sleep problem is definitely the most resistant part of this illness. Guest guest
The amazing thing I did notice that as I eat most of my veggies towards the later part of the day and my fruits towards the begining. I slept very soundly. I am hoping to eventually get ride of what I jokingly call " walking rigor mortis " . As I go thruogh out my day I can hardly walk at times as my mucsles and tendenions stiffen up and are very sore. Stress plays a big role in this illness as well, but sadly there's very few things I can do for certain things happening in my life right now other than let go. My " circuits " are on overload. ~Helen (Everett) RawSeattle , astrosue@o... wrote: > Since Fibromyalgia has a lot to do with the way we sleep > (the body does not relax with this illness and that alone causes > much of the pain), taking GABA can re-do the sleep patterns for > healing. Guest guest
just a brief note this afternoon, but my Fibromyalgia is really responding to drinking three quarts of distilled water a day. Many doctors feel that the start of Fibromyalgia is in the body getting chronically dehydrated. I was a huge soda drinker, milk, or juice. All of which remove two ounces of water per ounce drank. I never saw my folks ever drink water, and they swilled coffee. So I have been getting my daughter to drink water, and now teaching two of my sisters. Its weird but NO ONE in my family on either side drank water. Was this just not done in the fifties or what? One parent decided to start drinking water after seeing how my Fibromyalgia started getting less intense... specially after I ended up getting not only out of my wheelchair, but now no longer use two canes. As of September, its no canes at all and I can even walk two blocks uphill! She is going great guns, lots of energy, less pain. My pop is still strickly a coffee man and is not doing as well. He can barely walk across the hall. Try it and let me know if you start having less symptoms and more lower pain days. Laura
Guest guest
Thanks Laura. I will definitely try drinking more water. I am sure I am needing it. Also, I did notice that eating big bowels of fresh spinach the last two days has also taken some of the edge of it. What is the difference between distilled and mineral water? Do we need the minerals in the mineral water? ~Helen (Everett)
Guest guest
Please get a good form of electrolytes and add it to the water you drink for re-hydration of the myofascial tissue, which is what you want to do definately with the fibromyalgia.
