Here is a great opportunity to save a bundle on an Excalibur Dehydrator.

This is one I used in only for class food preparation so it has very

low usage time. The caveat: During transport to class one evening,

the bottom of the plastic frame somehow became cracked. However, that

doesn't seem to affect the dehydration power of this awsome unit. I

simply set it on the countertop and push the bottom crack together and

it works brilliantly.

Since I am no longer using it in teaching, here is a great opportunity

for you to pick up a fully functional 9-tray dehydrator that INCLUDES

9 TEFLEX SHEETS for a mere $100.

Simiilar models are being sold on eBay for $150 or more PLUS shipping,

and that does not include the 9 Teflex sheets.

If you don't mind having a crack in the bottom of the unit, or perhaps

you know of a way to repair it, this is a great opportunity for you to

save tons!

Meet me at Chaco Canyon one night this week with $100 cash and it's yours.

Interested? Drop me a line with your phone number and let me know.

For those who might be interested in the dehydrator - you cannot repair the

case, short of using some kind of epoxy, and only if the crack doesn't

spread. I was reluctant to use that in something that would be warmed up

and there would be food exposed to whatever toxins might be in there.

However, you can order a replacement case from the Excalibur company. We

had a severe crack in the bottom of one of ours, and were able to replace it

with a " second " case (minor imperfections) for about $60 (+ S & H), as

compared to about $90 for a perfect one.
