Guest guest
Hello all, You are in more danger of having a drug test show positive if you consume poppy seeds then hemp. You would have to basically eat a bathtub full of the hemp seeds for it to show up. As the powder/pills are a more concentrated form of hemp, there would be a greater likely hood of THC in them, then in actual hemp seeds. We saw folks fail becasue of cough medicine, OTC sleep aids, Nightquil type stuff, poppy seed muffins, and even Hamadash (A yummy pasty filled with poppy seed filling eaten by Jews during Purim.) I graduated as a Chemical Dependeny counselor in 1998 and have never seen someone busted for hemp seed consumption in bread, muffins, sprinkles on ceral etc. There are other herbs that could show up, it all depends on what test it is, urine or blood. (Blood testing is usually mandated by the court for DWI's and driving while impaired from drug cases.) Hope this helps. PS my old doctor recommended hemp seed milk with a tiny bit of honey for several ailments having to do with the regualtion of blood sugar. Shame I have to move away... Guest guest
What are these other herbs, and what do they show up as on the tests?
Guest guest
For what it's worth, I have heard that taking Golden Seal root will mask marijuana from showing up on a drug test (and thankfully I know that nobody here would use marijuana :-)). Perhaps it would help with those who use a lot of hemp also?
