What's Bowen therapy? And can a raw food diet cure Meniere's disease? Do you

have Meniere's disease?

able to find it.

Thanks.

Sorry, but I never asked about raw goat milk. It was a mr. blankenship, who

evidently used my reply to Kevins Meniere's disease. As you can see at the

I know some folks on Vashon that do cow share.

They are really nice folks and have a jersey cow, and the milk is

WONDERFUL. FULL of cream.

http://bantams.the-kozaks.com/Creamery/

It is run by a youth, and she is learning to be a cheese maker.

She also is making soap. She is an incredible kid and has the best

intentions, which you will understand when you read her website. Top

Quality!

Raw cream on berries is the best!

I raise rare breed chickens and have raw eggs. I make raw mayonaise

for salad dressings. Raw eggs are good in smoothies too. They are

easy to digest (raw in 1/2 hr.)

I do have extra eggs to sell on occasion.

like Trivia said. " Nothing like the real thing "

When you can get foods from animals that are loved and cared for as

individuals, it is a true gift.

The co-op quite carrying raw goat milk back at the time of the Odwalla scare

and the WA state laws changed to require a label that reads something like

" this product is unpasturized and may be hazardous to your health " and the

company supplying the raw goat milk to the PCC that I believe was Port

Madison refused to put that on their product and so prefers to flash

pasturize or not sell it at all so not to have that insulting label.

Hi Trish.......goat share has been on my mind for years......every

neighborhood should have one....all this obesity in kids would not happen on

raw goats milk ( and the other major sugar imbalances)..... and you are so

right about the raw goats cream.....wow, what a taste pleasure and brain

relief (with excellent side effects)... ..i use it as a face cream also,

gets rid of wrinkles......I made the raw mayonaise recently and couldn't eat

enough of it (raw egg yolks and pure olive oil), maybe is was a magnesium

flush......now i've had enough for a while......my father used to make it,

so people in central Europe knew about it for centuries. .....and yes,

animals which are loved are gifts which keep on giving, material and

spiritual..... blessings,

i've yet to met a cow or a doe that will ''stand'' to be milked unless she's

Hi Norm,

I don't want to start a big stinky war here on the egroup, I

understand this is a touchy subject, but I do want to defend my

posts. So with respect, I'll continue.

There are just more harmful destructive things to fight about, in my

opinion.

The organic small farmer needs to be supported everywhere, and in my

opinion, so do the animals that exist there.

The folks with the small farm I recommended have an idyllic

situation, you probably couldn't get better quality cow milk from

happier cows. It's really the industrialized-conveyer belt, greed

based, animal lots that are really the hell-realm that do these

animals (and humankind) harm. We all agree that is a living hell.

And maybe we should pray for them an early death, so that if they do

reincarnate as a beast of burden again, that they make there way into

the hands of Trivia's goat family, or the like, where they are loved,

and milked with tender hands. See what I mean?

If we all ate less meat-milk and when we did choose it, we got it

from more idyllic, organic farms, wouldn't the human and the animal

kingdom be better off?

It's really cool there are Vegans out there to lift the burden from

these animals lives. Yeah to Vegans everywhere!!

But, If we stopped our relationship all together with these dairy

breeds, they could run the risk of becoming extinct.

How do you suggest we obtain a sustainable, symbiotic future here?

The American Breeds Livestock Conservancy has a list of heritage

breeds that are endangered because of industrial animal lot farming.

i.e. beef cows are mostly all Angus, Dairy Cows mostly being

Holsteins, egg layers are all white leghorns or Rhode Island

Reds....where does that leave the (Irish heritage) Kerry cow, for

instance? who's small size, lower milk production and high milk fat

has been left behind for dairy cows that make more money?

There are very few of this breed left.

to view the watch list http://www.albc-usa.org/wtchlist.htm

You can read the situation on many heritage breeds here.

I was just answering someone's request for a raw milk source, for

whatever reasons

she is seeking it. Perhaps this is her path to transition from a

meat/milk diet to full raw vegan. Perhaps she has children, perhaps

her health or children's health requires it. We all have different

diet requirements and not one diet will suit us all the same way. I

think a little tolerance is more appreciated.

Your description page says nothing of this being vegan site.

It's category is Vegan, but if you didn't search this group out by

category, you wouldn't have known that. I searched it by looking for

RAW , not VEGAN . I didn't know it was an all Vegan raw

site.

If it is intended to be raw AND strictly vegan you ought to mention

it more clearly.

Hi Trish, by the way, my granddaughter of 8 months need raw goats milk and

my daugter is coming around.....is there a source for milk , she is in the

Factoria area?

This is by the way a matter of life or juvenile diabetes.....i have been so

upset Lisa, my daughter, was feeding infamile and all the syntetic baby

formulas whatever, to her child......i couldn't talk to her since November,

she finally called me on Mother's day......i personally do not have the

strenght to watch the doctors kill my grandchild......your sista, Trivia

From an outside observer's opinion - I don't like anyone's posts to be shot

down (unless they are Spam, of course). And, I thought it was discussed a

while back that something not directly related to 'Raw Foods' would be

signified with an 'OT' so those not interest could just delete them.

Maybe as a compromise, we can have anything that might not be 'Vegan Raw

Food' considered OT with an OT in front of the post...that way this can be a

positive group that provides good information for all people..

I seek information in my quest to be come 100% raw - thus, I welcome it

all - in fact, while not a milk drinker, I found the post about Goat's milk

interesting - now, it didn't make me go out and want a glass of goat's milk,

but it has just given me a piece of information that I didn't have before..I

like that, and I welcome that. I hope everyone else does, too.
