See RawSeattle/calendar?s=0 & t=1124650800 for info on raw vegan potluck w/speaker at my new Vashon home (Aug. 21, Sunday) I would love to see you all! I have a slow well, however...so water usage needs to be conserved. I have a 500 gal. holding tank. When that is gone, there's no water...for hours! :-) That's rural livin' for ya! And I LOVE it! I look forward to sharing my sweet piece of heaven with you. Come enjoy the serenity of the lush green'ness of 4 acres of trees and other green stuff (blackberries, salmonberries and more). (Dress accordingly, if you plan to take this adventure.)Explore a falling down cabin on my property (2nd home build on Vashon!). See if you can find the hidden treasure in the creek (as folk lore tells it). Sit by the singing creek I fall asleep to and meditate....yoga on the lawn? Meet my wonderful neighbors! Sit back and listen to Cheryl Honey share with us her successful vision for creating community-sharing through an online network of 'neighbors' and 'neighborhoods' that you can take back with you and create wherever you live! What a fabulous way to share resources, reducing our high cost of living. What a great way to create new friendships and connections too.
