Guest guest
Does anyone know where I can get a good price on a pound of cacao nibs? Preferably skinned. Even though I am down in San Diego now, I would prefer not to pay the inflated prices NFL charges. THANKS!! Try to find someone in your area who has a wholesale account with NFL and go in on an order. It comes in 10 pound batches. >When it is dark enough you can see the stars Cacao is dark! Guest guest
hi everyone... > Does anyone know where I can get a good price on a pound of cacao nibs? Preferably skinned. i've come upon a couple of cacoa fruits and i like to eat the white fleshy material around the seeds i think that might be what paula referred to as the skin you can see an example at http://pg.photos./ph/kelpguy1215/my_photos it's the tropical fruit album and you'll hafta scroll down to find the cacoa and while you're there, what's the name for the brown grape-like fruit i have labeled ''mamon''? also, feel free to check out the other photo album titled ''el valle mercado'' this album is mostly photos of people at a sunday mercado notice the ratio of bicycles to vehicles the album is best viewed as a slideshow with panamanian tipico musica playing on da stereo while you're sipping on a young coco (agua pipa) the close up profile of old timer in the straw hat and black and white plaid shirt with the wrinkled chocolate skinned face is mi amigo, patricino when i lived in el valle, patricino would bring me a rack of the primitivo bananas every sunday ($3) primitivo's are small (6'') thin skinned bananas you'll never go back to chiquitas once you eat a few primitivos norm )~ ...... raw food, simply wonderful ..... Guest guest
Hi Paula, Not sure what you're considering a good price, but $15 per pound is about the best I've found. Living Tree Community Foods (online) has them for that price, and Natural Zing will sometimes have that price, as well. Hope it helps . . .
