Guest guest
Any idea why Nutiva uses plastic jars rather than glass? Rather than pay the shipping to send them back I'd rather pass them on to folks at wholesale: $45 per gallon. That's way less than you'll pay anywhere else and you pay no shipping! (For reference EcoViva. com sells them for $55 plus shipping) Here's why it's so fresh, delicious and truly raw: " Coconut Oil - Organic by Nutiva How coconut oil is processed is the key to optimizing its taste, texture, color, and aroma. Within two hours of Nutiva's coconuts being chopped, the oil is cold-pressed at below 104 " These are guaranteed to go fast so contact me asap if you want to get in on the freshest, creamiest, yummiest, certified organic coconut oil anywhere! I will have several gallons at the Decadent Dessert Class -- GOT RAW CHOCOLATE?! (see rawseattle.org for details or stop by Chaco canyon or Mad Mkt. to grab a moneysaving coupon for class) on Saturday as well.
Guest guest
There's been a decided trend towards plastic over glass packaging. pros: doesn't shatter, lighter = less energy to transport cons: not as readily recyclable, may/may not leach more stuff into the contents > > Any idea why Nutiva uses plastic jars rather than glass? >
Guest guest
Hi Bruce, I would like to purchase a gallon of the raw coconut oil. I am currently a ballot inspector with the Elections Dept. and we work long hours 6 days a week. Every day except Sunday. Is it possible to pick some up on Sunday at Chaco Canyon? Can I write you a check? (I have before for a series of your classes.) I don't know when else I could coordinate this unless it is next Sunday instead of tomorrow because of my work schedule. Can you let me know if this works for you? Thanks, Cheryl - Chef Sprout<chef_sprout2001 rawseattle <rawseattle > Friday, October 28, 2005 12:55 PM [RawSeattle] Great Deal on Certified Organic RAW Coconut Oil Nutiva accidentally shipped me several more gallons of their outrageously delicious, incredibly fresh and truly raw coconut oil than I ordered.
