Guest guest
Greetings! I am planning a potluck on Sunday, 12/25 at the Cascade People's Center, Near REI in Seattle. This will be a potluck to celebrate the Holidays, whether Christmas, Hanukah, the Winter Solstice, or Kwanzaa (or the weekend or Sunday...) Unless another group will not be using their weekly reservation, we would have to leave by 3:30, but could begin as early as we want. I am thinking doors open @ 10:00 and eat at 12:00 or 1:00. As the room may be available later than 3:30, this could change. We could always start a " brunch " at 11:00. Who would be interested and what would be your preference of times? Guest guest
After replying on the list and seeing Roger's comment, here is a good example where a message could be added to the end: Please send your comments or questions to (list e-mail address using name at domain dot com). It would cut down on the amount of messages. Guest guest
Ron, Point well taken, however I was actually looking for a group discussion to get a consensus. In the mean time, we can still keep our posts trimmed, to help people, especially those on the digest version. Thanks, Jeff > here is a good > example where a message could be added to the end: > Please send your comments or questions to (list e-mail address using > name at domain dot com). Guest guest
Hi Jeff, I would love a Christmas potluck, but maybe not exactly on Christmas day. Perhaps a holiday potluck before or after Christmas? I'll be out of town right around Christmas. Thanks for thinking of this. Its a great idea. Take care and Happy Holidays to Everyone! Guest guest
Hi Jeff, I plan to be there too. Maybe around 1 pm or so. It was great to see you, Susan, Tom, Christy and everyone else at the Holiday Bazaar and reminded me of how important group support is on this healing path with live foods. Take care, Laura
Guest guest
Hi Jeff, This is a great idea. I prefer a time later in the day, but would rather come early than miss it. Part of most of the holiday traditions is sharing the bounty of food, and buried deep in me somewhere is a belief it isn't really a winter holiday if you don't do this. Its really hard being 100% raw and dealing with this on food oreiented holidays. Having a raw potluck on the 25th really fills a gap for me. I'm still out of town, so I can't guarantee I can make it, but am making a real effort to get home by the end of next week. If I'm back home by then, I would love to come to the potluck. By the way, there are 2 people with the first name " Roger " now, so I will start using my last name to help avoid confusion. May your day be filled with clarity, grace, progress, and warm laughter, Roger Padvorac
