Hi all,

It's been a long time!

I have a friend who has had ovarian cancer for three years. She is trying to

have the courage to not do chemotherapy. She has made some changes

in her diet and has tried some alternative therapy. Does anyone have

success stories to share with her regarding healing ovarian cancer? The

medical statistics tell her she has a zero percent chance of healing ovarian

cancer. Bah humbug to that mentality! Thanks for any suggestions or

feedback!

Blessings,

Hi Cindy,

Minor dietary changes *may* allow your friend to recover but if I

were in her shoes I wouldn't be taking any chances. Imo, she needs to

commit herself 100% to a lifestyle that will support her body's need for

rest from the unhealthy habits that caused her disease. Often people

recover from cancer without making any improvements at all to their

lifestyles and even adding to the burden by subjecting themselves to

harmful therapies like chemo or 'alternative' remedies. In those cases,

the remedy gets the credit but it's always the body that does the

healing. Sometimes the body is so smart and resourceful that it manages

to heal no matter how many roadblocks people put up. But the goal

should be to give the body the best possible chance at healing. I think

choosing to make only minor or moderate dietary changes in your friend's

situation is like rock climbing with a fraying rope. If what she was

doing before was so harmful to her body that it caused cancer, major

changes from that are obviously in order.

I'm sure if you post your question on some of the higher traffic raw

boards you'd get some great testimonials. It also might help to read

the short essay on my website about cancer. It's mostly an expose on

the cancer industry but it does provide a brief explanation of what

cancer is and what causes it. It's here:

http://www.rawschool.com/cancerquiz.htm.

I hope this is helpful. Best of luck to you and your friend.

Warmly,

Nora
