I've been looking for such a dentist for a long time, in NYC and Florida. I

need major dental work and I haven't found specialists who are holistic.

Hi all,

I have met a dental hygenist I really like by the name of Jeff Archer.

If anyone knows this guy I am trying to contact him. I was his last

appointment for a dental check-up and he has left my dentist's

employment. He is very open to dietary and spiritual healing!

wjho are your favorite dentists in seattle? Are there any that are

really open to dietary healing in seattle? If so can you share their

names?

I do not resonate with my current dentist anymore but I loved his

former dental hygenist. Also my dentist is very pricey!

another question. What is your favorite form of dental hygeine? Just

water and a tooth brush?

Thanks Everyone!

I would also appreciate some referrals, since I have a very old crown

that needs replacing. No insurance, so I'm reduced to choosing a

dentist on price only! Has anyone found one that is affordable?

Thanks much.

Hi Cindy,

If you wouldn't mind, would you tell me where Jeff was working? I'm not good on

names, and I'm wondering if he was working at a dentist I used to go to.

May your day be filled with clarity, grace, progress, and warm laughter,

Roger

Rick Stickney in the Pike Place Market area. He has been mercury free for

as long as I have been going to him (over 25 years). He does very high

quality work. He doesn't seem all that cheap, though, but I haven't

compared his prices to other dentists. I have also heard good things about

a dentist named Robert Feasel in Lake Forest Park.

Next time I need dental work done I'm going to check out Rick

Stickney, DDS, in Seattle. (206) 720-1330 who apparently (according

to a friend) has recently retooled his dental office to begin

practicing a newer and much less toxic form of dentistry he learned

in California. Apparently, even in non-mercury offices there are

still major toxins in the anaesthesia, " porcelain " crowns, cleaning

procedures, etc. and this new form of dentistry eliminates those. But

I would imagine it costs quite a bit more. If you check him out, let

me know what you think. Also, I've been using tooth-soap a few times

a week (with a Sonicare toothbrush) and when I recently visited my

hygienist after not seeing him for a year he couldn't believe how

healthy my teeth are -- he was finished cleaning them in 20 minutes

rather than the usual hour. So I'll keep using the tooth soap (which

I got from Frederic Patenaude's website, but it's available other

places an the web as well).

Best,

Gael

There are two dentists that Seattle Magazine lists in their top dentist article

as " holistic " :

Mitchel Marder 206.367.6453 and Gerald Becker 206.542.4848

In talking to Dr. Marder's office I also got referred to Robert Feasal

206.360.5540, Jessica Saeposf 425.427.8899, and David Buck 206.324.1100, all

reputed to be likeminded folk.

Hi Nora,

Try calling a denturist. There is a woman denturist at the Northgate Denture

Center. She can do crowns I believe. She just can't do any prep work.

(Washington law defines what denturists can and can't do versus dentists.) Her

office can let you know and maybe give you an idea of cost over the phone.

Also, U of W dental school is suppose to be 20% less than commercial dentists.

But they will require $100 just for a consultation fee up front. Wish I knew

better resources for affordable dental care. There is the 45th Street Clinic

dental office. They use to have a sliding fee scale but haven't been there in

years so don't have current info on them.

Good luck,

Cheryl

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the tips about dentists. I have seen a few of these dentists.

Doctor Feasel has been my current dentist. I met the mysterious hard to

track dental hygenist that I liked in his office. ;-)

I am paying attention to ph and better brushing and have noticed a change

in my teeth. Also I have had good results with Theta Healing. If I master

this I will let you know. I know Theta Healers who have healed cavities

instantly.. I had an infected tooth that showed negative on my last x-rays.

My goal is to heal all of my cavities holistically and then get the x-rays to

prove it! I am all for growing third teeth as well. That would be fantastic!

Blessings to all,

Cindy Rothwell
