Guest guest
i am on my second day of 100% raw. prior to that i was transitioning from a vegan diet for a few weeks. prior to that it was a sad diet. is it common to experience being tired and having pain in my organs from the detox and the relatively sudden change in diet? aside from that, i am feeling hungry, even though i am eating quite a bit. any insight to this? thank you, darryl lawrence whalen Get on board. Guest guest
Darryl, Congrats on going vegan/raw! Many people experience a variety of symptoms when transitioning. It can vary from person to person. Since you were very recently on a sad diet, you may go through more detox than someone who has been an organic vegan for many years. I didn't experience much in the way of detox symptoms when I transitioned, so you can probably get more first hand experiences from others on this list. Guest guest
the smoker can feel worse before they feel better..the coffee drinker gets the headaches without coffee, the cooked fooder gets emotional and cranky without the cooked food medication.. its all good. if you want to experience your full life potential then low fat raw vegan is for you. im from australia and cycled toured in america. i met nora lenz from raw school.com. youll be hard pressed to find someone with more knowledge on health than nora. and if you do, they will back up what nora lives. Guest guest
I can tell you that when your body is detoxing, it's expending a lot of energy to get rid of old waste, so it's quite common to feel tired. Let your body rest while it's detoxing--that also means not overeating, which taxes the digestive system worse that working too hard. Guest guest
There is a classic aritcle called: Symptoms to Expect When You Improve Your Diet by Stanley S. Bass, N.D., D.C., Ph.C. http://chetday.com/symptoms.html it is a good article that helped me understand detox. terri Ron Koenig <theveganking wrote: I can tell you that when your body is detoxing, it's expending a lot of energy to get rid of old waste, so it's quite common to feel tired.
