Guest guest
i am not offended in any way but feel that this group as a whole might be best served if you find a different way to communicate about your women's only support group, especially if it is going to exclude interested members. this is a group that is intended to best serve the interest of all of its' members. it is tough enough for some people to find any support for this lifestyle from any one/where in their lives, and being drawn into the concept of a group that might exclude them could be counterproductive. it's a little dissapointing to me, but i can live with it. i will step down from my high horse and ask if anyone (man, woman, child or other) is interested in starting a support group on the west side of the water? thank you all and be the love that you are! darryl

Guest guest
I recognize we are a diverse group, complete with different social structures, emotional issues, eating habits, etc. As such, our group may well be served with a variety of support groups. any new support group is an opportunity for support and growth. If some members need a one-gender group to help and support them, that is great that a new group can help them. Perhaps there is an interest in a men's group as well? Perhaps an ideal would be to have a variety of groups or alternating weeks of mixed and single genders. The main thing to me is that those who need specific types of support have opportunities to find it. While we have had many raw support groups over the years, I hadn't thought about single gender groups. More power to those who are empowered through them. Any one else interested in starting groups in your area? Jeff
Guest guest
now that's why i go to this group for input and inspiration. everyone is so much more kind, and wise than myself. thank you to everyone here for being so great. even when it does not always seem like i am not seeing it that way, i am. i would be interested in participating in a support group on the west side of lake washington, if possible, because i can not stay raw for the life of me. at the moment, it is out of my budget to hire any of the many great raw coaches in the area, and i do not feel up to calling people all the time and bugging them for help. i realize that i am only hurting myself with this kind of attitude. it would have to be a group that takes men though, otherwise i'm out. have a great day! darryl lawrence whalen
