Wow ... what an affirmation Vision from Victoria! I'm so glad this event was such a success. And thank you Monika for letting us know that Paul Nison was speaking last night in Federal Way. We also would like to encourage others to contact us about starting similar Potlucks, Support-Discussion Groups or Fun Gatherings on other days, in other parts of town.....We can have something to do, every day of the week/weekend, in every part of town. Would anyone like to meet at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park? Maybe for a book discussion group? I have a question about where to find good fresh raw nuts, and how to know if they are fresh. I was told that pine nuts and macadamian nuts are supposed to be white but everywhere I see mostly yellow or at least very off off white ones. I have packages that I think I must throw away. Is eating " slightly rancid " nuts a very bad thing? Terri Need Mail bonding? Go to the Mail Q & A for great tips from Answers users. Guest guest
Third Place works for me. How about Doug Graham’s new book, the 80/10/10 Diet? I wonder the same thing about pine nuts and macadamias and other nuts too. I love Brazil nuts but I seldom buy them because a high percentage of them seem to be rancid. Maybe it’s best to find a good nut supplier and buy them through the mail.
